Moab lies 235 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah and 350 miles west of Denver. Nearest air service is through Grand Junction, Colorado, 110 miles to the east. Interstate 70 runs east/west through Utah merging into 1-15 at Cove Fort in central Utah. US Hwy 191 is the major road through Moab.
