Skydiving in Moab
Take your adventure to a higher level! Skydiving can be for everyone!

Tandem skydiving is the fastest and easiest way to experience the thrill of freefall. A tandem skydive can be made by most anyone over the age of 18. There is no maximum age limit.

Your class will be taught by a professional instructor certified by the United States Parachuting Association (USPA). All instructors are highly skilled skydivers with years of experience and thousands of jumps under their belts. After a short class, you’ll get geared up for one of the most exciting adventures of your life. You’ll board the plane and go for a beautiful flight over the Moab area.
Your aircraft will climb to roughly two miles above the earth while you take in the incredible views. You can see Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, Dead Horse State Park, the mighty Colorado and Green Rivers, three mountain ranges, thousands of hiking/biking trails and canyon after canyon, which will add to your skydiving experience!
Your adrenaline starts pumping as the door opens. You and your instructor will exit the airplane over the airport and freefall for about a mile (30+ seconds), reaching speeds of up to 120mph! While falling through the air, take a look around and see Moab from a bird’s-eye view. Your instructor will pull the ripcord a mile above the ground, at approximately 5,000ft.

Once the parachute opens, you’ll be amazed at the peace and serenity of canopy flight. Enjoy the amazing scenery for another five to seven minutes until you land on the ground. Moab offers the perfect landscape and climate for skydiving. Whether you are a first-time jumper, an experienced skydiver, or just want to come out and watch, contact Skydive Moab.

A Little History
The French inventor André-Jacques Garnerin made the first parachute jump out of a balloon over Paris in 1797. The surplus of nylon and parachute equipment after World War II, along with the first military, sport-parachuting clubs created by the U.S. Army, set the foundation for skydiving in the United States.
